Crusader's Cross Crusader's Cross by James Lee Burke

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
One of my favorites by Burke. Sometimes I don't even care what he's writing about. The way he strings words together transcends his stories; although this one is a dandy!

NU & The Big 10: It Needed to Happen

The ultimate consideration for Nebraska was what would happen if it stayed in the Big 12. The most likely scenario was that others were (are) likely to move elsewhere, leaving NU holding the bag.

This is a great opportunity for both NU and the Big 10. A classic win-win.

Personally, I am looking forward to it. It has been many years ago in some cases, but I have broadcast games at all the Big 10 schools. It'll be nice to do it again.

More Fun Fiction...

Dry Ice (Alan Gregory, #15) Dry Ice by Stephen White

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
Great read. The thing I like best about Stephen White is how the psychologist in him is revealed in his narratives. The analysis of his characters' motives and thoughts, as detailed by Alan Gregory, makes him unique as a story teller.
