Simple Fun
If you're in the mood for vanilla-like fiction, pick up this one. Very uncomplicated plot but entertaining just the same.

Not Good

My rating: 2 of 5 stars
More than disturbing characterization/representation of the LDS Church. Not sure what to believe about all that.
White fails in attempting to paint a word picture of a mountainous archeological scene at the end. I just could not visualize it. It was a struggle to finish this one because of that.
This is far from White's best effort. He includes very little psychological motivation of his characters in this story. That's what White is all about. Disappointed.

Don't Ruin It

I read 2/3 of this book and then made the mistake of going to see the movie. Took something away from the rest of the read. Great book (and movie) though.
